REC'D BY should work for every family.
We want REC'D BY to be welcoming and usable for people with different abilities, devices, assistive technologies, and ways of interacting with digital products.

Accessibility isn't a one-time checklist for us. It's part of how we intend to design, build, test, and improve REC'D BY over time.
Our accessibility goal
We are working toward aligning REC'D BY's website and digital experiences with the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 Level AA where reasonably applicable. Our work includes attention to areas such as:
- Keyboard navigation
- Screen-reader compatibility
- Clear heading and content structure
- Alternative text for meaningful images
- Sufficient color contrast
- Readable text sizing and scaling
- Visible focus states
- Accessible forms, labels, and error messages
- Touch and pointer target sizing
- Reduced reliance on color alone to communicate information
- Accessible authentication and account interactions
- Clear, consistent navigation
- Responsive experiences across different screen sizes
Because REC'D BY is actively maintained and expanded, accessibility is an ongoing process.
Mobile + app accessibility
We also aim to support accessibility features provided by the operating systems and devices on which REC'D BY is available. As new functionality is introduced — including scheduling, household management, payments, background checks, and additional care services — we intend to evaluate accessibility as part of the development process.
Third-party services
Some REC'D BY functionality may involve third-party services, such as payment processing, background checks, maps, authentication, communications, or external payment applications. We don't control every aspect of those third-party experiences, but accessibility is one factor we consider when selecting and integrating services.
Need help?
If you experience an accessibility barrier, we want to know. Please contact us and tell us:
- What you were trying to do
- What page or feature you were using
- The device, browser, or assistive technology involved, if relevant
- What happened
- Any accommodation or alternative format that would help
Tell us through the REC'D BY Contact page.
We will make reasonable efforts to understand the problem and improve the experience.
Feedback makes REC'D BY better
REC'D BY was created because everyday household systems should be easier — not harder. Accessibility is part of that promise. If there's something we can do better, please tell us.
Good people, recommended by your people.
